This is the portal for student applications to the 2026-2028 edition of the ChIR, classes starting October 2026 in the University of Algarve, Portugal.

Note: the ChIRS will NOT award Erasmus Mundus grants in 2026-2028.

1st call for applications:

Opens: January 15, 2026

Closes: February 27, 2025  March 6, 2026

2nd call for applications:

Opens: May 5, 2026

Closes: July 15, 2026
